Everyone has to start somewhere when introducing themselves to an unknown audience ...that could be global! To be honest I am not sure why I have decided to start a blog, as I do not consider myself the most interesting of people, although to be fair I have been known to have my moments.
I live here in the beautiful and sunny Algarve (Portugal) where I consider myself extremely fortunate, I love the outdoors and spend all my free time outside - not quite worked out how to extend that time when I am punished on a daily basis in an office where work commitments cage me!
I am often asked would I ever go back to the UK, my standard answer is "why would I want to do that?". Granted the media is driven to exploit its audiences' fears and seems to be dominated by stories of doom and gloom , violence, misery and exploitation. Why would I want to go back to a country where society (if the media is to be believed) has turned on itself and the quality of life of its residents is poor?
Perhaps you are hazarding a guess as to my age, already pigeon holed me as a retiree? How wrong you would be!
